privacy policy
This site does not use cookies or any other form of client tracking.
It also does not use any third party resources on any page. No connections to sites other than this will be done automatically. For example, all 88x31 buttons on the homepage are self-hosted, bad apple but it’s ssh keys self-hosts the asciinema player. No google font CDN here!
The server does not log requests in a way that i can see, but see below about logs.
As for MITMs: this site does not use cloudflare. The clearnet site is hosted on https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net, their privacy policy (as it pertains to visitors of the site, not me as the host) is found https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/policies/privacy#public. In short:
We automatically receive and record information from our systems about all accesses to the sites that members of our service host with us, including but not limited to the following:
- The User-Agent: header sent by the browser, if any.
- The requesting IP addresses.
- The date and time of the access.
- The specific URL being accessed, including query parameters. […] Our information about access to our members’ sites is typically retained for about four days.
Feel free to use Tor Browser or whatever to visit this site. Being a lightweight minimal-JS site means it should be a pretty okay experience, even at the highest security modes. (some SVGs on the homepage being broken is a known issue. 🤷).
If you want to not even get your accesses logged, feel free to use this site’s onion address at http://onion.tor.my/. This goes directly to my machine.
